The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) comprises the departments of Healthcare Professional, Optometry & Visual Science, and Diagnostic & Allied Health Science. Committed to excellence in teaching and research, FHLS is dedicated to providing a holistic, dynamic, enterprising educational experience in a vibrant, supportive learning environment.                                                              

The Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) comprises the Department of Business Management and Law and the Department of Accounting and Finance. FBMP graduates are highly sought after for their independent, forward thinking - a result of FBMP’s industry curricula equipping them with the skills critical to handling volatile business environments.

The Faculty of Information Sciences & Engineering (FISE) comprises the departments of Media Science & Graphic, Engineering & Technology, and Information Sciences & Computing. Aiming to produce technically competent and well-rounded professionals, FISE’s curricula integrate knowledge of and skills in new technology with human values and global perspectives.

The International Medical School (IMS) is committed to serving community, aiming to produce doctors and medical scientists attuned to community’s health needs. Comprising one campus in Shah Alam Malaysia and another in Bangalore India, IMS offers degree and diploma programmes in Medical Sciences besides its main MBBS programme for Medicine and Surgery.

The School of Pharmacy (SPH) comprises the units of Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. SPH curricula integrate knowledge with the attitude and skills necessary for success in meeting the challenges of pharmaceutical caregiving and research.                                                                 

The School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) offers broad-based curricula that blend knowledge with practical experience and relevance, setting you on your pathway to shaping the future of your community. SESS prepares you for careers in education and the social sciences, equipping you sufficiently with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence.
The School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) prepares you for management careers in hospitality and creative arts. Boasting excellent training facilities, SHCA offers its degree and diploma studies with a strong industry focus. You will be grounded in the business side of the industry and equipped for various careers in hospitality and creative arts.

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) provides a highly competitive education in research. SGS programmes incorporate MSU’s ideals of holistic learning, characterizing the University’s teaching, distinguishing its students’ learning, and defining its graduates. The Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) prepares you for entry into tertiary education through a solid foundation to future higher studies in Law, Business, Health Science, Engineering and Technology, Information Technology & Engineering, Visual Arts, and the Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL). You also experience studying and living in university.

The Centre for Continuing and Extended Education (CEDEC) provides the lifelong education required of society in today’s highly competitive global world. Delivering customisable, adaptable, flexible training that upgrades knowledge or bridge knowledge gaps, CEDEC’s range of workshops and summer schools serve the needs of the University and the general public alike.
