What the course will give you
The honours degree programme in computer engineering at Management & Science University (MSU) will equip you with the knowledge and skills to create, build, and manage IT systems and products that cater to specific industry needs. Delivered by the Department of Engineering & Technology at the MSU Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), courses on the BCE programme include information technology and multimedia, problem solving and programming, data communication and network, computer architecture, system analysis and design, and data structure and algorithm.
Your MSU learning experience will develop both your vocational and life skills. Your lecturers are researchers and industry professionals whose mentoring will add depth and breadth to your understanding and keep you abreast with the latest industry developments. Internship in the final year of your studies ensures you graduate industry-ready for a career in computer engineering.

Who may enrol
You need also to pass STPM or equivalent, with at least a C (2.00 CGPA) in Mathematics and ONE (1) Science-related subject; or pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics and ONE (1) Science-related subject; or pass Matriculation/Foundation in a relevant field with at least 2.00 CGPA; or obtain a Diploma in Engineering / Engineering Technology or equivalent, or Vocational and Technical or related skills, with at least 2.00 CGPA; or A-level with at least a Pass in two (2) subjects including Mathematics and ONE (1) Science-related subject; or Diploma (MQF Level 4) in Vocational and Technical / Skills, with at least 2.00 CGPA, from MSU, MSU College, or any other higher education provider recognized by the Government of Malaysia; or pass the South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a score of at least 65%-70%; or pass the Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with a score of at least 80%; or obtain other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
Bachelor (Hons) in Computer Engineering (BCE) is a three-year career-focused industry-developed programme by the Department of Engineering & Technology of MSU’s Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE).
