What the course will give you
The curriculum of the MSU diploma programme in graphic design teaches you how to attract audience perception and views. You will design text by digital technology, work with illustration software, also learn drawing techniques, image manipulation, interactive multimedia, and desktop publishing. Areas of your study include advertising, packaging, corporate identity, animation, and interactivity.
Your lecturers are industry professionals, and the learning opportunities and experiences we provide you will add depth and breadth to your understanding and develop both your vocational and life skills. An internship at the end of your studies ensures that you graduate industry-ready for a career in graphic design.

Where the qualification may lead you to
Advertising, publishing, marketing, animation, even event management. Industry job titles may include visualizer, layout artist, brand identity designer, technical illustrator, and design educator, among others. You may also go on to degree studies and widen your career options.
Who may enrol
You need a least THREE (3) Credits at SPM level OR a PTPL Certificate in Computer Science or Business Management OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate.
Diploma in Graphic Design (DGD) is a two-and-a-half-year career-focused industry-developed programme by the Department of Media Science & Graphic at MSU’s Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE).
