Air Conditioning and Refrigeration at Management & Science University (MSU) is a diploma in mechanical engineering aiming to equip you with the knowledge and skills in residential, commercial, and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning, preparing you for not only immediate employment but also further study in engineering or related technology.

You will be qualified to take on the role of HVAC/R technician or mechanic, whose duties typically include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Entry-level employment can also be sought from independent HVAC/R contractors, property management companies, hospitals and hotels.

Who may enrol
You need to pass SPM or SPMV or equivalent with at least a Credit in THREE (3) subjects including Mathematics and one (1) Science subject; OR obtain a KKM Level-3 Certificate in a relevant field with at least 2.00 CGPA; OR obtain a qualification deemed equivalent by MSU Senate.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) (DMR) is a two-and-a-half-year programme by the Department of Engineering & Technology at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) of Management & Science University (MSU).
