About the Course

Diploma in Medical Sciences is a platform developed to provide students with a broad understanding of the fundamental areas of medical sciences. The programme encompasses basic medical science, diagnostic laboratory components, and basic clinical skills. You will learn about the human anatomy, its biological functions, and related diseases. The curriculum is delivered via a combination of traditional and contemporary teaching and learning methods, including lectures, small group projects, presentations and laboratory sessions. This combination will further enhance your learning experiences at MSU and prepare you for a career in medical sciences.

Entry Requirements
SPM/equivalent, with five (5) credits in Malay, English, Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science / Applied Science), and one other subject; OR
 
GCE O-Level/equivalent, with Grade C in English, Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science / Applied Science), and two (2) other subjects; OR
 
MQF Level-3 Certificate related to Health Sciences, with 2.75 CGPA; OR
 
MQF Level-3 Polytechnic Certificate in related fields, with 2.00 CGPA; OR
 
Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level-3 in related fields, and SPM with one (1) Credit, and through consolidation programs (where necessary); OR
 
MQF Level-3 MARA Skills Institute Certificate in the field, with 2.00 CGPA; OR
 
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), with Grade B in three (3) subjects; OR
 
Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.

RM35,000 - RM40,000
