MSU wows Senegal in Malaysia collaboration visit


Emulation is in order, says Senegal Minister for Higher Education and Research, of Management and Science University (MSU) methods


Management and Science University (MSU) welcomed on campus a delegation from the Republic of Senegal Ministry of Higher Education and Research recently. Led by His Excellency Professor Mary Teuw Niane, the delegation was received by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid at the main campus.

The meeting at MSU sought to enhance collaboration between the two countries while showcasing Malaysia’s potential to emerge the regional hub for excellent higher education. Expressing his admiration of the Malaysian higher education system, the Minister was especially impressed by the MSU emphasis on entrepreneurship and community engagement. His Excellency believed that emulating the examples of Malaysia and MSU will benefit Senegal’s social and economic development.

Malaysia ranks among the top 50 on the QS list of higher education destinations. For teaching, facilities, graduate employability, social responsibility, and inclusiveness, Quacquarelli Symonds, who also produces the annual QS World University Rankings, rates Management and Science University (MSU) Five Stars for Excellence.
