Delivered by the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), the Master of Pharmacy programme (MPC) at MSU offers a mix of courses that develop valuable practical skills and experience, and builds on students' strong scientific foundation to provide specialist, comprehensive knowledge relevant to contemporary pharmacy practice. With a strong practical focus, the MPC curriculum delivers advanced skills that prepare graduates for leadership and other prominent roles in all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmacy is a great choice for a master’s degree if you are looking for a job in a high-paying field. You may work as a pharmacist with a specialization, or a researcher. Career options are also available in pharmacology, toxicology, regulation, and science writing. Areas of employment include hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturing, academic, and R&D.
Who may enrol
Prospective applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) with at least 2.75 CGPA or equivalent as acceptable to the MSU Senate; CGPAs between 2.50 and 2.75 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; CGPAs below 2.50 must be supported by at least five (5) years working experience in a relevant field and subject to MSU Senate approval.
