About The Course
The MSU Master of Science (Applied Science) is a based programme that gives you the flexibility and options in shaping your chosen field of concentration. You will be able to explore a range of scientific interests from food technology, biomedicine, nutrition and pharmacy. The programme focuses on developing the analytical and critical evaluation skills necessary to support in decision-making and problem-solving required in leading today's technical enterprises. At the end of the programme, students are expected to posess the skills and attitudes considered desirable to practising in a professional research capacity or to policy implementation.
Programme Structure Contents
Prospective applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) with at least 2.75 CGPA or equivalent as acceptable to the MSU Senate; CGPAs between 2.50 and 2.75 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; CGPAs below 2.50 must be supported by at least five (5) years working experience in a relevant field and subject to MSU Senate approval.
