Delivered by the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA), courses on the Bachelor in Patisserie Arts (Hons) programme include fundamentals of pastry and bakery, pastry making, cake making, bread making and techniques, cake decorating, and nutrition for pastry and bakery.

Where the qualification may lead you to
You may find employment in pastry, bakery, gastronomy, and hospitality; as Pastry Chef, Caterer, or Bakery Manager; in restaurants and hotels, and on cruise ships, among others. Pastry chefs may specialize further in a specific aspect of their craft to become experts at cake decorating or traditional pastry baking, for example.

Who may enrol
You need to pass STPM/A-Level/equivalent with at least a C (2.00 CGPA) in two (2) subjects or STAM with Jayyid or Matriculation/Foundation with 2.00 CGPA or MSU Foundation with 2.00 CGPA or UEC with a B in at least five (5) subjects or SAM with 65%-70% score or CPU with 80% score or Diploma (MQF Level 4) with 2.00 CGPA or others recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
