About the Course
Foundation in Biological Science/Health Science is an introductory platform designed to prepare students who wish to build a career in Biological Science/Health Science industries or related areas. This programme incorporates technology, skills, community and humanity skills in spite of the fundamental knowledge of health sciences including Anatomy and Physiology, Health Science and Basic Genetics. This programme is with the objective of producing well-rounded graduates with humanity and employability skills necessitate for pursuits in Biological Science/Health Science careers.

Entry Requirement

Entry into Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry Degree Programme
(i) Pass SPM/SPMV with minimum 4B in Mathematics, Additional Mathematic, Physic, Chemistry and Biology/other technical subject

Entry into Other Degree Programmes Besides Medicine & Dentistry
(i) Pass SPM/SPMV with minimum 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, Science and two (2) relevant subjects ie Chemistry and Biology;

(ii) Pass English Language

Career Prospect
Students will be eligible for the relevant degree programmes allowing them to acquire the full spectrum of knowledge and skills so as to facilitate in the development of technology within the field of medical science. Among specialisations that students may choose is Medical Science, Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, Pharmacy or Food Service Technology.

Alternatively, the International Students Exchange Programme (ISEP) are meant for students who opt for internationally recognised education which enable them to expand their knowledge and skills over MSU partner universities such as UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, Czech Republic, Poland, India and Indonesia.
