About the Course
Bachelor in Industrial Management (Hons) is offered to students from applied statistics, applied science, science stream and accounting stream that have a minimum knowledge in mathematics/statistics. The programme is designed to provide a decision-making oriented qualification, which will prepare graduates for employment in manufacturing industries, services industry, technology and marketing research firms. The programme provides extensive understanding & knowledge of mastering the management of industry especially in manufacturing. Starting with basic business & management principles, the framework has been designed in such a way that it will benefit candidates in capitalizing IT appliances to serve international operations

Entry Requirement

(i) Pass STPM or its equivalent, obtaining full pass in 2 subjects including Pengajian Am (General Studies) or at least 2.00 CGPA;


(ii) Ministry of Education (KPM) Matriculation Certificate;


(iii) Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in relevant field from any provider of higher education;


(iv) Pass at least 2 subjects in A-Level;


(v) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 5 subjects;


(vi) Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government

This programme provides an opportunity for employment in all of the major disciplines of Industrial Management or widely known as Operation Management. Graduates in this discipline will be looking forward to offer their services in various public and private sectors that include manufacturing, petroleum, banking and research entities. Organizationally, graduates will be employed in the Manufacturing, Logistics, Safety & Quality sectors as Project Planner, Scheduler and Researcher.
