About the Course
The Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) is an undergraduate academic programme that leverages on a unique learning opportunity in the combined disciplines of Accounting, Law, Finance and Management. Students pursuing the programme will be exposed to both the rich tradition and rigour of the accounting and audit, as well as to the state-of-the-art technologies used in the fields of economics, management, marketing, finance and insurance. As such, graduates of the programme are expected to be competent to handle not only the common accounting transactional matters but as well to assist the accountant in managing accounting reports.

Entry Requirement

(i) Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 3 credits including Mathematics;


(ii) Pass all the subjects in PTPL Business Management Certificate;


(iii) Certificate from any Polytechnic or Public Higher Learning Institution (IPTA) or pass Certificate Programme in relevant field from Private Higher Learning Institution (IPTS) that has achieved the Minimum Standard;


(iv) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 3 subjects;


(v) Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

Graduates will find ample opportunity in private and public sector in the country, as well as in international corporations and companies. Diploma in Accounting (DIA) graduates qualify for careers as account assistant, tax assistant, assistant financial controller, banker and financial planner. DIA students are also prepared to assist the managerial positions in accounting or finance.
