About the Course
The Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in MSU is aimed at leading students to be well prepared either as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer or in a chosen field of engineering degree programme. This programme is structured to enable students to work theoretically and practically. Students will definitely find it interesting as the laboratories are well equipped to meet the needs of the students. With a strong basic skills and foundation in electrical & electronic engineering acquired in MSU, students will be able to confidently utilize their skills in real engineering situation. .

Entry Requirement

(i) Pass SPM/SPMV with at least 3 credits including Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics;

    OR

(ii) Electrical & Electronic Engineering Certificate from PTPL;

    OR

(iii) Certificate in relevant field from Polytechnic/IPTA or Certificate in relevant field from IPTS which meets the Minimum Standard;

    OR

(iv) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 3 subjects;

    OR

(v) Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government

Duration : 2 1/2 years

Upon completion of this programme, graduates may find ample career opportunities in a wide range of sectors such as in telecommunication firms, manufacturing companies, research institutes in electrical / electronic engineering, computer engineering sectors, and assembly plants as supervisors, technicians, technical assistants, plant management assistant, sales engineer, maintenance engineer and etc.

Graduates can also consider upgrading their knowledge and skills by articulating into a range of degree or professional certification programmes offered in Malaysia or any other outside internationally recognised Institutions.
