About the Course
Diploma in Science (Good Manufacturing Practice) programme is structured to impart theoretical and practical knowledge on the fundamental aspects of good manufacturing practice in the pharmaceutical industry. This programme is with the objective of providing comprehensive understanding on the pharmaceutical qualification-validation practices. At the end of this programme, students will able to identify various types of qualification protocols necessitate in the good manufacturing practices such as Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ) and validation documents including the Validation Master Plan (VMP).

Entry Requirement

(i) Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/SPMV) with 5 credits in any subjects, including English Language and one Science subject;

    OR

(ii) Pass Health Science Certificate from PTPL;

    OR

(iii) Pass Certificate programme from any higher learning institution;

    OR

(iv) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 3 subjects;

    OR

(v) Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

Graduates will possess the essential knowledge, skills, and qualities to embark on rapidly expanding jobs related to pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors as manufacturing pharmaceutical technician/assistant, GMP enforcement assistant, product registration assistant, inventory control assistant, pharmaceutical quality control and assurance assistant, pharmaceutical sale representative or assistant trainer of pharmaceutical product.

Graduates may also consider pursuing for higher learning education in any local or internationally recognised Institutions to be qualified for higher earning jobs in the future.
