The Centre for Flexible Learning was set up to be a leading provider of quality education through a flexible learning environment. It strives to provide opportunity for working people to enrich their knowledge and skills plus obtain an accredited degree in line with the government’s policy of promoting life long education. The Centre aims to produce knowledgeable, skilled and independent graduates.
Introduction
Programs offered at the Centre ranges from Diploma, Degree and Master programs. They are similar to the full time degree programs only that the classes are offered in the evenings from 6.30 to 9.30 during work days plus from 2.30 to 5.30 on Saturdays.
The evening mode programs are available at the MSU main campus in Shah Alam. The Flexible mode or the distance learning mode provides convenience to those who do not have the luxury to attend classes in the evenings at the Shah Alam main campus.
The flexible or distance learning mode throughout Malaysia are available can be done at the various designated regional centers.
KLAS (Knowledge and Learning Management System)
MSU has specially developed the KLAS system to ensure that students can be assisted continuously in their learning prosess. With the access to KLAS students can communicate with their lecturers, download notes, get into an on-line forum plus gain access to the on line library.
Registered students will be given their personal id log in plus their own personal password.

Admission requirement for programs listed under the Centre for Flexible Learning are similar to those for full-time programs listed under the specific schools.

Staff
The academic teaching staff consist of full time lecturers with minimum Masters degree qualification plus several Phd holders. Periodically student will be excited to attend lectures on the relevant subject ruatler conducted by our comprehensive range of visiting professors.
Lecturers are easily accessible and available for consultation on normal days.
