Diploma in Management

Introduction:

The Diploma in Management is designed for students who choose to venture into a career in management with the government, private or commercial organisation. The programme allows for flexibility where students are able to select from a range of subjects to major.

Objective:

This course aims to equip the students with a strong foundation in business, skills in effective problem solving and to realise the students' potentials and creativity.

Career Prospects:

This course prepares the students for business management related careers. Students could hold the positions of Administrative Executive, Management Executive, Marketing Executive, Business Development Executive, Business Analysts and Sales Executive.

Entry Requirements:

1. Certificate In Business Management PTPL with a pass in all subjects
   
   OR
   
   
2. Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with:
   1. 3 honours (credit) in any subject
      
      OR
      
      
3. Certificate from Politechnic, Public Institute of higher learning (IPTA), 'Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia' (SKM) Level Three (3) and other qualifications recognized by MSU Senate.
   

Course Content:

This course is divided into two: core subjects and compulsory subjects. The credit total for the core subjects is 81 units and compulsory subjects is 9 units, with an overall total of 90 credits in order to graduate from the Diploma in Management.
