Campus Facilities

 

Library:

An extensive collection of learning and reference materials are available, for students and staff alike to do their studies or research, that include monographer, books, magazines, journals, thesis, and student project, mainstream newspapers, past year examination questions. Web-based full-text online journals and electronic books are also available. Students can easily access, read, download, or print journal articles or books via the internet.

The library is fully automated and our computerized system, ILMU (Integrated Library Management Utility), will provide you information on the availability of books or material etc. Student may also make reservations for any books though this system. Our experienced librarians are always at hand and ever willing to provide you with the necessary assistance and advice in finding and using the most appropriate source of information. The library is open from Mondays to Fridays (9.00am - 8.00pm) and from 9.00am - 5.00pm,on Saturdays. The opening hours will be extended during examination week.

One of our priorities is to ensure that the materials that you need are available at your convenience. Hence by employing our Inter-Library Loans Facility, we are able to borrow materials on your behalf from other libraries throughout the country. Photocopying facilities are also available in the library as well as 18 terminals of broadband internet access, free-of-charge, for students and staff. We also provide individual study carrels, a group study room and an AV room (upon prior booking) for your added convenience.

 

Computer Lab:

A large number of computers are available to all students when they are not being used for scheduled classes. One is designated as "unscheduled" so that access is available for students between early morning till late evening. E-mail facilities are also available to make communication between staff and students more sufficient.

 

 

Sport & Recreation:

The University and the city of Shah Alam offer a range of indoor and outdoor sporting facilities e.g. futsal centers, swimming pool, basketball, takraw, badminton, fishing lake and orienteering programmes.

 

 

 

Financial Advice:

The University offers confidential financial counseling service to assist with advice on any type of financial difficulty, from basic budgeting to debt management. Specific advice is also available on educational scholarships and loans.

 

Campus Hostel:

Student need to observe the terms and conditions stated. Full payment of the hostel fee (monthly) is required if student were to register on the 1st to the 15th along of the month and half payment is required if registration is made on the 16th to the 31st along of the month.

 

Prayer Rooms (Surau):

Muslims students may perform their prayers at the campus surau at block C. Friday prayers are performed here as well.
