A Visit to Down Under

IMS Medication Tour, Perth Australia 2012

A group of MSU MBBS, students recently went or an international visit to Perth, Australia. The six-day visit saw the participation of 20 students accompanied by three lecturers.


With the objective of exposing students to a lifestyle and culture outside Malaysia, the tour took the approach of independent and survivor mode whereby the group travelled using public transport from point to point.


The program promotes self-esteem, independence and confidence level as they travel in a group in a foreign country.

Among the places visited were the University of Western Austalia, Swan Care Group, and Freemantle Prison


During the visit the group alsd had the opportunity to celebrate the Hari Raya with the Malaysian students in Perth.
