Did you know that employers like a display of entrepreneurial spirit? It shows you are agile. For its set of skills crucial to the working environment, entrepreneurship is highly supported at MSU.  

The Jumpstart Programme at MSU was initiated to help budding MSU entrepreneurs or MSUpreneurs start and sustain their businesses. With RM5mil revolving seed funds, MSU’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship Advancement Institute (LEAD) guides the new MSUpreneurs into building their businesses.

University is the time for you to sharpen your soft skills, so expose yourself to every single thing that can help you later in job hunting. Joining clubs and associations will give you the opportunity to cultivate teamwork, passion, people skills, leadership skills, and initiative. Plus, you get to have fun outside of class with your buddies!

MSU has 47 clubs and associations – academic clubs, culture clubs, sports clubs, recreational and welfare organizations, martial arts, clubs and uniform body – for you to choose from!

Travel widely

 

International experience is a big seller to your future employers. By travelling far, you open yourself to wider perspectives in life. You learn about other cultures, gain personal growth, and become more independent. If you have international work experience or travel a lot, you top your employer’s list of potential hires.

MSU is all about giving the best to our students so in order to encourage MSUrians to be globally engaged, MSU started the Global Mobility Programme (GMP), Global Leadership Programme (GLP), and Global Internship Programme (GIP).
