On the 23rd of April, the Chancellor Hall of Management and Science University (MSU) was the site of a dazzling display of creativeness, remarkable talents, and culinary delights.
Clubs and associations from all around MSU, including the Students and Career Development (SCD) and faculty, came together to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr. Foods prevalent in various regions of Malaysia and other countries were showcased at several booths.
The entrance of the hall was embellished with doodle art, carved by 38 students from the Media Science & Graphic cluster at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering.
In addition to a slew of performances that MSUrians presented, Mimi Fly's presence, together with her exclusive Serumpun rendition, offered a whole new level of vibrancy to the celebration.
Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, the President and Founder of MSU and Professor Puan Sri Datuk Dr. Junainah Abd Hamid, the Vice-Chancellor of MSU graced the event and engaged with the student leaders and club members.
In his address to the committee members and student leaders, Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri clarified that developing and maintaining traditions is one of the fundamental principles. In keeping with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), he emphasised the need to pass these traditions on to the next generation so that they could contribute to bringing people together and encouraging cross-cultural learning.
