MSU President and Founder Professor Tan Sri Dato' Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid was present at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Potluck as almost 2,000 members of the MSU staff assembled in the morning for the celebration.
This year, the customary tradition of having a potluck was maintained, and each faculty and department contributed a variety of dishes. These meals represented states from all over Malaysia as well as countries from all over the world, demonstrating the amalgamation of local and international staff.
“The core component of this celebration is to amplify and commit to a shared purpose through togetherness, cultivating a culture of academic excellence. We hope to carry this spirit of unity into our work culture,” stated Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri in his officiating address.
Additionally, in accordance with the concept of MSU Raya Lain Macam, the staff members displayed their talents through a wide variety of performances, which made the celebrations more joyful.
During the afternoon, MSU and MSU Medical Centre extended a warm welcome to the University-Industry Advisory Panel (UIAP), as well as alumni, industry partners, local authorities, and media partners, resounding the Giving and Grateful (2G) culture of MSU.
