Management and Science University (MSU) president Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid has returned a cultural visit by Uzbekistan with one of MSU’s own.
Building on a relationship begun since the first diplomatic tie was established between Malaysia and Uzbekistan, the visit by the MSU President bridges connections with opportunities for education through a sharing of culture.
Accompanying Professor Tan Sri Dr Shukri were members of the MSU Performing Arts and Culture Club (PACC), who appeared in the local media four times for their cultural performances throughout the ten-day visit.
Other than to the Embassy of Malaysia in Uzbekistan, where Professor Tan Sri Dr Shukri met with His Excellency Ambassador Hendy Assan, the MSU group also visited the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan as well as iconic landmarks in Tashkent, Bukhara, and Samarkand.
