Management and Science University (MSU) is fostering a smart partnership with Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS).

 

Facilitating future internship and job placement opportunities for MSUrians, the MoU was exchanged at the PPAS unveiling of its upgraded, rebranded Gombak District public library. Representing MSU was Senior Vice-President for Endowment and Communication Dato’ Rosli Yusof, whilst PPAS was represented by its Director Puan Hajah Mastura Haji Muhamad. Witnessing the exchange was Selangor Menteri Besar and PPAS Board of Directors’ Chairman Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

 

 

Currently making their careers at PPAS are three members of the MSU alumni from the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE); Bachelor in Computer Science (Honours) graduates Rufandy Shamsuddin and Ahmad Zafri Shukor, and Bachelor in Information and Communication Technology (Honours) alumnus Wan Syahrizal Wan Shabuddin.

The MSU-PPAS MoU also seeks to promote teaching, research, and training. MSUrians can look forward to library membership drives, industry talks, industry awards for MSU convocation’s top graduates, expertise exchange, mutual staff development, and joint community engagement.

 

Management and Science University (MSU) endowed a gift of books worth over two hundred thousand Ringgit to PPAS’s Raja Tun Uda Library in 2018. The gift came to be following a discussion between MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid and the Sultan of Selangor His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, to help build the Shah Alam public library’s collection. 

 

 

MSUrians make up the largest group and most frequent weekend visitors of the Raja Tun Uda Library.
