Carrying the theme ‘Transfiguring Challenges to Success in the Era of COVID-19 by Paving a Sustainable Future for Future Graduates’, MFIA Week 2023 was filled with the MSU Sustainable Marketplace Bazaar MaSKET 3.0, Accounting Interactive Quiz the Golden Ball Challenge, an alumni sharing session on Surviving and Thriving in Accounting by Building Resilience in the Face of Adversity, a Canva Workshop by a TikTok content creator, an Islamic Financial Literacy Competition, a Trading Challenge Talk on Financial Literacy in Daily Life, an International Guest Lecture on Code of Ethics as an Auditor, a Mentoring Telematch Masterchef vs Minutes to Win It 2.0, an Industry Mock Interview, and an Industry Talk EPF and You Start Here.
Eighty students across the Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons), the Bachelor in Finance (Hons), and the Bachelor in Human Capital Management (Hons) programmes as well as eight partners of industry participated in the Industry Mock Interview; AFI & Partners, WPP Business, Adam & Co, Pall Corporation, Triumph Eminent Hub, Demogi for KUEH, Glob Pro Brainhunters, and Affin Bank.
An engagement with the Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Commission on Social Media Responsibility, an industry sharing session on Malaysian Fintech, a Chat & Chew session with the banking industry, and Research 101 completed the weeklong itinerary of the MSU Finance, Investment and Accounting (MFIA) Week 2023 by the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) at Management and Science University (MSU).
