Management and Science University (MSU) cherished its Class of 2025 with the University’s graduation ceremony this May. Offering pearls of wisdom while bidding farewell at the 35th Convocation Ceremony was Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, the President and Founder of MSU.
“Take a moment to ponder; your journey of success and failure shapes the subsequent steps. Through it, you learn resilience, perseverance, and how to navigate setbacks. Education is not just about the degree, but what you build around it that truly matters; it goes beyond a piece of paper. The world out there is dynamic. While we prepare you for it, one thing must remain constant: hold firmly to your core principles, ethics, and values, no matter what changes around you. This is just the beginning of your next success story.”
“Our University’s industry ecosystem is truly excellent, with over 2,000 industries — both regional and global — in internships and community initiatives. Their sustained commitment and support make a significant impact on the education ecosystem at MSU.”
Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid revealed that according to the 2024 Graduate Tracer Study by the Ministry of Higher Education, MSU recorded an exceptional Graduate Employability (GE) rate of 99%, with a Graduate Marketability (GM) rate of 99.7%. Resounding this achievement is the recognition from Talentbank in which MSU is acknowledged as the Employer’s Choice of University 2025, as per the National Graduate Employability Index.
The President also highlighted that four new high-end Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) academic programmes will commence from the September 2025 academic session, offering a guaranteed career.
The programmes are the Bachelor in Game Development (Honours) and the Diploma in Networking and Cyber Security at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering, along with the Bachelor in Hotel Management, and the Bachelor in Culinary Management (Honours) at the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts.
The Class of 2025 in May produced 1,974 graduates over 126 academic programmes across faculties, spanning four sessions. Forty-nine received awards for the exceptional achievement under the categories of the Chancellor Gold Medal (1), Mohd Shukri Yajid Outstanding (1), President (2), Academic (26), and Industry (19).
