Management and Science University (MSU) celebrated perseverance, commitment, and excellence of the class of 2025.

May 17 and 18 featured 1,987 graduates from 126 academic programmes receiving scrolls in conjunction with the MSU 35th Convocation ceremony. Spanning four sessions, 47 were conferred a Doctoral Degree, 64 a Master’s Degree, 887 a Bachelor’s Degree, and 976 a Diploma at the Chancellor Hall of MSU main campus in Shah Alam.

 

 

At 509, the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP), recorded the highest graduates, followed by the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS) at 427, the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) at 342, the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) at 276, the International Medical School (IMS) at 137, the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) at 114, and the School of Pharmacy (SPH) at 58.

One hundred and eleven were postgraduates, 58 from the Graduate School of Management (GSM) and 53 from the School of Graduate Studies (SGS).

 

 

The Diploma in Management programme from FBMP boasted the largest graduating student count of 178, while FISE offered the highest number of at 27.

Through IMS, a sum of 113 medical practitioners were recorded to have graduated from this cohort. 

The Class of 2025 also comprised 153 international graduates from 18 countries.

SESS produced its first graduating class for the Bachelor in Liberal Arts (Honours), as did the Master in Counselling and Master in Early Childhood Education programmes at GSM.

Presiding over the first session was the Regent of Kedah, Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, the Chancellor of MSU, who presented scrolls to over 400 graduates.

 

 

The 35th MSU Convocation honoured Amelia Shafinaz Azmi Faez with the Chancellor’s Gold Medal award. Amelia graduated from the Bachelor in Liberal Arts (Honours) programme.

Bagging the Mohd Shukri Yajid Outstanding Award was Jesuvan Jeya Raj Paul from the Bachelor in Music Technology (Hons) programme at SHCA.

Receiving the President Award were Putri Ely Qistina Shariff from the Bachelor in International Business (Honours) programme at FBMP and Hana Nabilah Mustafa Kamal from the Diploma in Graphic Design programme at FISE.

 

 

In addition, the Academic Award was presented to 23 undergraduates and three postgraduates for their overall academic and extracurricular excellence. 

 

 

For exemplary dedication in internships and research endeavour, 16 undergraduates and three postgraduates received the Industry Award.
