Management and Science University (MSU) team from the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) won Best Presentation at the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s Innovation Entrepreneur Competition 2019.
The innovation presented by the FISE team is a River Cleaning Robot; an effort to support UN Sustainable Development Goals for Life Below Water. Overall, MSU places third for the competition’s Education Minister’s Trophy.
‘Pertandingan Usahawan Inovasi Piala Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia’ was organized in support of the Action Plan for Higher Education Institution Entrepreneurship or ‘Pelan Tindakan Keusahawanan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi’ 2016-2020, particularly under the third initiative for student entrepreneurship development ecosystem upgrade.
The competition provides space and opportunity for students to channel ideas and creativity into producing innovative entrepreneurial products with competitive flair.
The award ceremony for the Innovation Entrepreneur Competition Piala Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia was held at the closing of ‘Bulan Keusahawanan Siswa’.
