Management and Science University (MSU) through the MSU Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) co-hosted the Asia Digital Art and Design Association (ADADA) International Conference with ADADA partner CUMULUS in November this year.

 

The 2019 edition, held at MSU’s Performing Arts Theatre, is the 17th ADADA + CUMULUS International Conference.

 

 

Among the conference topics were Animation, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects, Design Theory, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Game, Gamification, Interactive Art, Digital Art, Media Art, Interactive techniques, Innovative devices, Robotics for Art, Gadgets, Education, Digital Archives, Web, Big Data, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Content Design, Music, Musical Interface, and Sonification.

“Technology is one of the pillars at MSU and an important component of both IR 4.0 and 21st-century learning,” said MSU president Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid in his welcoming speech.

 

 

“Moving forward into digital transformation, the collaboration with ADADA and CUMULUS will enhance our ongoing research into digital art and design and contribute to our journey into digital transformation.”

 

Receiving the inaugural MSU Foundation – ADADA Award for Lifetime Achievement in Digital Art was Doctor of Engineering Professor Kunio Kondo, president of ADADA International.

Also present was Dr Friska Natalia Ferdinand from ADADA Indonesia.
