Management and Science University (MSU) has emerged Top Two in the Malaysia Private Higher Education Institutions (MASISWA) Sports Council Netball Championship 2022.

 

 

Beating TAR University College 12-4, UNIPSAS 19-11, and UNIKL MIAT 17-4 in the Grouping kickoff, MSU also beat Taylor’s University 15-23 in the Quarter Final and UTP 13-7 in the Semi-Final before finishing off with 14-17 against UNITEN in the Final.

 

 

Bringing in the silver medal from MASISWA Netball Championship 2022 is the MSU Netball team comprising four from the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP); two each from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA), and the School of Education and Social Sciences (SESS); and one each from the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering (FISE) and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS).

 

From FBMP are Bachelor in International Business (Hons) students Afrena Tihani Kamarulzaman and Nurbatrisyia Afiqah Mazlan as well as Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) students Aleeya Aryana Syed Rusly and Nur Elya Shamirah Abdul Halim; from FHLS, Bachelor in Forensic Science (Hons) student Eshwinder Kaur Paramgit Singh and Bachelor in Cardiovascular Technology (Hons) student and Team Captain Nurul’Ain Nadhirah Mohamad; from SHCA, Bachelor in Culinary Arts (Hons) student Syaza Rika Mohd Azmi and Diploma in Culinary Arts student Nur Syasya Najihah Mohd Nidzam Adzha; from SESS, Bachelor in Psychology (Hons) student Nur Hidayah Nasywa Mohd Azman and Bachelor in Education (Physical Education and Health) (Hons) student Ainur Adina Mokhtar; from FISE, Diploma in Information Technology student Aimi Safiah Ahmad Fadzillah; and from SGS, Master in Science (by Research) Biomedicine student Nur Hafidah Ismail.     

 

 

The MSU Netball team was coached by Mohamed Azha Ali and managed by MSU Student and Career Development (SCD) Department Sports and Recreation Officer Nurul Faezah Fadzil.

 

FHLS student Wardena Ningseh Abdul Malek of the Bachelor in Cardiovascular Technology (Hons) programme and FBMP student Wan Aini Syafini Wan Ahmad Syamsul of Bachelor in Investment Management (Hons) made up the Medic Team for the MSU Netball Team to the MASISWA Netball Championship 2022.
