Muhamad Harith Farhan Baharin began displaying a passion for the race circuits as soon as he was 7 years of age. The younger of two siblings, he names Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez as his idols.

 

The son to a Public Health Assistant father and a bank clerk mother, Harith’s involvement in competitive motorsports began in 2006 with Mini Bike. He now represents Malaysia under the Boon Siew Honda Racing and Division Club.

“My parents are my strength, and lecturers as well as friends are always encouraging me to realize my dreams of motor GP professional racing.”

 

 

Harith Farhan’s circuit victories range from 10th overall in Asia Road Racing 2014 to 5th overall in Asia Road Racing 2016, and 8th overall in the Asia Dream Cup ARRC 2015. He was first runner-up in the Superbike Championship 1000cc Superstock category and also the Malaysia Superbike Championship 2019. He counts his sweetest win as overall champion in the Wira category at the AAM Malaysia Cup Prix Championship 2015.

 

Says the 7th-semester student of Diploma in Hotel Management at MSU College Terengganu about to embark on industry training next semester,

 

“It is my dream to succeed in motorsports despite my diploma studies. Both are important to me and require balance besides passion. My MSU education keeps me on the right track, in and out of the racing circuit.”
