About the Course

Bachelor in Game Development (Honours) of MSU aims to provide the best knowledge and training using TVET approach to serve the industry not only in Malaysia but globally.

Graduates from this program are equipped with in-depth knowledge and skills, critical thinking skills, creativity and innovation in the field of game development industry. This includes contextual understanding, entrepreneurship and professionalism to perform effectively and ethically and to be culturally sensitive in their specialized areas, hence influencing personal achievement and lifelong learning, and industry development.

This full-time program is designed to be completed over four years, comprising a total of 120 credit hours inclusive of 2 years of Work Based Learning (WBL) at industry.

Entry Requirements

General Entry Requirement:

IELTS/ MUET
International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 4.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 2 OR its equivalent. 

SCREENING TEST
- Candidate must pass prior screening test (drawing test and portfolio review)
- Passed interview session by the industry partners (for scholarship and job guarantee) 

Entry Requirements (From TVET route)
- MQF Level 4 TVET or MQF Level 5 TVET, (in the relevant field),
- Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (Level 5), 
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (Level 4) or  
- Diploma Vokasional Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or less; and possess at least two years' experience.

Entry Requirements (From academic route)
- Diploma or other recognized certification or equivalent from IPTA/ILKA/IPTS
- STPM  with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) subjects including General Studies/ Pengajian Am
- STAM (2019 and earlier) must obtain at least the Jayyid Stage Matriculation/Foundation (2020 and earlier) must obtain at least PNGK 2.00 
- Adult learner with working experience, who passed APEL A assessment
