Back to School 2.0

Even though schools in Malaysia have yet to reopen, it is always better to be prepared. Therefore, the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences organised the Back to School 2.0 programme to ensure school children from low income household were not left behind.

A total of 100 stationary packs were prepared based on donated money from fellow MSUrians and the Shah Alam community. These packs were distributed at several targeted urban poor families, orphans and asnaf at Subang Jaya, Sungai Udang, Pantai Dalam and Section 20 of Shah Alam with the help of their community leaders. Only a few families were distributed directly to limit exposure between these families and the committee. The programme was made special by contributions made by our loving alumnis of FHLS represented by Dr. Nur Azalina Suzianti and these generous contributions enabled the committee to prepare even more packs of stationaries than was previously planned.
