Dr Dalvinder Singh A/L Jaginder Singh is one of our alumni of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) class of 2016 and currently working in Penang General Hospital as one of the frontliners.

He had contracted the covid-19 virus suspected from his patient. However, with the strong determination he managed to survive the infection.

“I almost gave up because I was having trouble breathing with a severe cough and my oxygen saturation (SpO2) reduced dramatically. I felt confused and anxious. At that moment, I might need to use breathing tube if the SpO2 continues to drop. My family has been informed to be prepared for the worse situation.”

In the recent interview, Dr Dalvin strongly advice everyone to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) properly to ensure the safety of those nearby. He encouraged the public to take part in the vaccination programme governed by KKM as a prevention step against covid-19 pandemic.
