53 best students and first batch of Music Technology graduates among 1,700 celebrated at August graduation ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU)

 

Management & Science University (MSU) awarded five hundred fifty-one diplomas, a thousand and thirteen bachelor’s degrees, and thirty-six postgraduate degrees at its 23rd Convocation Ceremony this August. Two honorary degrees were conferred, and five categories of Special Awards presented to 53 winners from among the graduating Class of 2018.

The first of the three-session ceremony witnessed the conferment of the MSU Honorary Doctorate in Entrepreneurship to homegrown corporate entrepreneur Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai. The Founder and Executive Chairman of Top Glove Corporation stewarded the company from its modest 1-production-line beginnings into its current standing of world-largest rubber-glove manufacturer commanding a twenty-five percent global market share.

The other recipient of the honorary degree at the 23rd Convocation Ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU) was recognized for his pioneering contribution setting a global standard in quality accreditation of international education. Dr Maurice K. Dimmock, Chairman of the UK-based Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities (ASIC), was conferred the MSU Honorary Doctorate in Education Management.
