“In entrepreneurship, the higher purpose should be your GPS. Become a job creator and contribute to nation building. You can do anything, build anything, but set your purpose right.”
Echoing the MSU President was Abu Bakar Haji Jambol, Senior Deputy Director of Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) National Strategic Unit (NSU), who announced commencement of the graduation ceremony.
"Entrepreneurship and venture building are core life skills. Entrepreneurial skills empower you with the ability to identify opportunities, harness resources, and turn opportunity into something of value to customers.
“The National Entrepreneurship Framework under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) emphasized the objective of training 40,000 graduates annually through the University Entrepreneurship Masterclass programme. A pilot programme by the Ministry of Finance in the late 2016, the University Entrepreneurship Masterclass was designed to help university students launch ventures after short yet intensive expert mentoring. The hunger for success among our young people keeps the number of successful ventures growing. Use the network you have built to drive you further. Set your purpose and make it your guiding principle.”
Delivered by experienced entrepreneurs and venture builders, supported by investors and domain experts, University Entrepreneurship Masterclass provides aspiring entrepreneurs among Malaysia’s university students with training on ideation, building and scaling, selling, and business modeling.
