Management and Science University (MSU) bagged 2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze at the Malaysia Technology Expo 2019.

 

 

 

 




The two gold medals were contributed by ‘Dermacol’ from MSU’s International Medical School and ‘AkuaRiz Gamat Extract’ from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.







Accepting the medals were Dr Muhd Ridzuan Pauzi for 'Dermacol' and Dr Nurzafirah Mazlan for 'AkuaRiz Gamat Extract'.

Two of the silver came from the School of Education and Social Sciences. 'TILES' is a project led by Shahruzal Idzuan Wahab Abdul Rahman with team members Cynthia Thomas and Sugan Rao, whereas 'Hacking the Science of Cell Division was led by Nurul Hazwani Shamsudin with team members Runesha Balasuntram, Ezatul Haneem Jeram, Laksheeta Devdas, and Yuvenitha Subramaniam.




Both projects had bagged a silver each for MSU in IUCEL T-Novate 2018.







Another silver at MTE 2019 was contributed by 'Non-Linear SVM in Autonomous Vehicle', a project by Dr Musab, Dr Mohamad N., and Dr Omar from the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), with external collaborators.

FISE also bagged a bronze for 'Competition  Monitoring System', a project led by senior lecturer Arshad Jamal with MSU students David Chin Wui Yung from the Bachelor in Information Technology (Mobile Wireless and Technology) (Honours), programme, Marzlysya Merican Razali from the Bachelor in Creative Multimedia (Honours) programme, and Bachelor in Computer Science (Honours) alumni on his way to Master in Computer Science (by Research), Mohamad Fadil Mohamad Parves.
