Management and Science University (MSU) team comprising students of culinary arts and patisserie arts and their lecturers from the School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA) bagged thirty-six (36) awards at the Melaka Culinary Challenge 2019.
 
 
 
They made MSU proud with their five (5) gold, eleven (11) silver, and thirteen (13) bronze medals, and seven (7) diplomas.
 
 
More than five hundred local as well as international chefs participated; coming in from Thailand, Egypt, India, Indonesia, and Singapore. They were evaluated by thirty-seven professional judges and ten trainee judges, both from as far as Germany and Denmark.

 
The competition offered twenty-seven categories including Traditional ‘Asam Pedas’, Hot Pasta Challenge, Ice Carving, Burger Champion, 3-Tier Modern Wedding Cake, Live Cake Decoration and King of Teh Tarik.
