Ethics Statement
This statement was adapted from the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and covers the code of ethics for chief editor, editors, editorial board members, reviewers and authors.

Authors Responsibilities
  • The manuscript has not been submitted to more than one journal for simultaneous consideration.
  • The manuscript has not been published previously in any journals
  • A single study is not split up into several parts to increase the quantity of submissions and submitted to various journals or to one journal over time
  • No data have been fabricated or manipulated to support your conclusions
  • Consent to submit has been received from all co-authors and responsible authorities at the institute/organization where the work has been carried out before the work is submitted.
  • Authors whose names appear on the submission have contributed sufficiently to the scientific work and therefore share collective responsibility and accountability for the results.
Peer Review / Responsibility For The Reviewers
  • Review all submissions objectively, fairly and professionally.
  • Should refuse to review any submission due to a conflict of interest or inadequate knowledge.
  • Should ensure the originality of a submission and be alert to any plagiarism and redundant publication.
  • Reveal any ethical misconduct encountered while reviewing to the Chie f Editor for further action.
  • Must not discuss the content of the submission without permission.
  • Adhere to the time allocated for the review process. Requests for extension to review the submission is at the discretion of the Chief Editor.
International Editorial Board Responsibilities
  • Review any work assigned to them.
  • Continuously support and promote the journal.
  • Actively contribute to the development and the greater good of the journal.
Editor Responsibilities
  • Are accountable and should take responsibility for everything they publish
  • Make fair and unbiased decisions independent from commercial consideration and ensure a fair and appropriate peer review process
  • Should adopt editorial policies that encourage maximum transparency and complete, honest reporting
  • Should guard the integrity of the published record by issuing corrections and retractions when needed and pursuing suspected or alleged research and publication misconduct
  • Should pursue reviewer and editorial misconduct
  • Should critically assess the ethical conduct of studies in humans and animals
Chief Editor Responsibilities
  • Evaluate manuscripts fairly and solely on their intellectual merit.
  • Ensure appropriate reviewers are selected/ identified for the reviewing process.
  • Ensure confidentiality of manuscripts and not disclose any information regarding manuscripts to anyone other than the people involved in the publishing process.
  • Has the responsibility to decide when and which articles are to be published.
  • Actively seek the views of board members, reviewers and authors on how to improve/ increase the image and visibility of the journal.
  • Give clear instructions to potential contributors on the submission process and what is expected of the authors.
Authorship and Collaboration
Authorship must be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research study either in the form of conceptual help, methodological advices, data / statistical analysis, collaborators who presented the paper in scientific meetings or assisted in the editing process. Other individuals who have contributed to the study are encouraged to be acknowledged, but not identified as authors. Proper acknowledgment of others used in research project must always be given and it’s the responsibility of the main author to do so.

The corresponding author who submits the paper on behalf of the other collaborators for publication should ensure that all co-authors have seen the final version of the paper, have collectively agreed upon reviewing it and have decisively agreed to its final submission for publication

Plagiarism
Authors should adhere to publication requirements that submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere in any language. Work should not be submitted concurrently to more than one publication unless the editors have agreed to co-publication. If articles are co published this fact should be made clear to readers. Applicable copyright laws and conventions should be followed. Copyright material (e.g. tables, figures or extensive quotations) should be reproduced only with appropriate permission and acknowledgement. Relevant previous work and publications, both by other researchers and the authors’ own, should be properly acknowledged and referenced. The primary literature should be cited where possible. Authors should inform editors if findings have been published previously or if multiple reports or multiple analyses of a single data set are under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors should provide copies of related publications or work submitted to other journals. Multiple publications arising from a single research project should be clearly identified as such and the primary publication should be referenced. Translations and adaptations for different audiences should be clearly identified as such, should acknowledge the original source, and should respect relevant copyright conventions and permission requirements. If in doubt, authors should seek permission from the original publisher before republishing any work.

Conflicts of Interest
A statement on conflict of interest must be included in the manuscript if authors receive any support that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Peer Review Process

Review Process
The manuscripts are sent to reviewers and the review comments are solicited within a period of 3-4 weeks. The authors are conveyed about the decision on the manuscript and if there is a chance of resubmission with corrections, the authors are being given a maximum time period of one (1) month. Failure to comply with reviewers’ comments may result in rejection.

This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

Publication Frequency
This journal will publish its issues in June and December.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Our journal offers an open access articles, which is under the Creative Common license type: Attribution-Non-Commercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA).

Publication Code of Ethics: For Authors, Reviewers and Editors
This is the statement of ethics for MSU Journal, published by CEDEC Training, MSU. This statement was adapted from the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and covers code of ethics for chief editor, editorial board members, reviewers and authors. The journal publication code of ethics has been designed to safeguard the integrity of the journal and to ascertain that all published materials are of the highest scientific and ethical standard. Authors, editors and reviewers can use these guidelines in their tasks and duties. Any ethical issue and question, which concerns MSU Journal, can be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. This code of ethics applies to manuscripts submitted to the journal. The editorial board of MSU Journal revises this code of ethics from time to time.

Peer Review Policy
All articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by three editorial consultants who are members of the journal review board.
