November 20th of every year offers each of us a pivotal opportune moment to champion, magnify, and honour children’s rights. The World Children’s Day, instituted by the United Nations in 1954, is endeavoured to encourage the growth of children’s welfare all around the globe.
In honour of building a better place for the children on top of nurturing the values of compassion and humanity in the next generation, the MSU Medical Centre (MSUMC) anchored MSUMC Children’s Day 2023.
Hand Hygiene Screening, Musical Chair, Magic Show, Clown Ballon Sculpture, Face Painting, Colouring Activities, Vitagen Booth, Paediatric Occupation Therapy Booth, Ambulance Exploration, and Meet and Greet with Garfield Mascot were among the plethora of activities hosted in the lobby of MSUMC.
Honouring the commemoration with their presence were Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, Founder of MSUMC; Dato’ Sharifah Huda Engku Muda, Senior Vice President of Human Capital & Administration of MSU; Tuan Haji Zahri Abd Ghani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSUMC; Professor Dr Badrisyah Idris, Head Executive of MSUMC; the management team; consultants; heads of services; and staff members of MSUMC.
