Pulau Carey, also known as Carey Island, sits south of Port Klang, a major port city, and north of Banting town. Populated by the indigenous community, the School of Pharmacy (SPH) at Management and Science University directed their efforts towards Pulau Carey to embody the shared purposes and values of Giving and Grateful (2G) for MSU Ihya Ramadan 2024.
The third edition of the Ramadan Booster Kit focused on delivering household essential to the Orang Asli (aboriginal) communities residing in Sungai Bumbun, Pulau Carey.
Fifty staff and students from the Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons), Bachelor in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Hons), and Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology (Hons) visited the Community Centre in Sungai Bumbun.
Adding to their Ramadan efforts, the MSU Pharmacy Club of the School of Pharmacy also victoriously held the second edition of their Sinar Pharmadan, a Ramadan charity drive enriching the lives of orphans at the Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Kasih Bestari.
Khat, the Arabic word for "line," denotes the art of Islamic calligraphy. It entails beautiful and artistic writing using the Arabic alphabet or scripts derived from it. Online Khat Competition 4.0 is a programme conducted by the School to unleash students’ artistic expressions through Islamic art.
