Steeped in rich cultures, the Management and Science University (MSU) champions a welcoming and inclusive environment for all its learners. As an avenue for empowering students to bridge cultural divides through intercultural learning across every sphere of education, the University tackles global and national challenges through extensive research endeavours and diverse international affiliations. 

In regard to MSU Ihya Ramadan 2024, an iftar engagement by MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid with postgraduate, international, and Yayasan MSU (YM) scholars was organised. 

 

 

In his address, the MSU President drew attention to the efficacy of intercultural learning as a critical component in developing balanced, holistic, and well-rounded leaders. He explained that intercultural learning equips future leaders with a broader range of skills and fosters a deeper appreciation for cultures. The President also stressed the significance of honing leadership skills and cultivating empathy; these qualities foster collaboration and a sense of unity, making it effortless to navigate diversified cultures in this world. 

 

 

The iftar engagement brought together a diverse group of participants, including but not limited to international students from Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brunei, Canada, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritius, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, as well as, representatives from MSU’s Graduate School of Management (GSM) and School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at the Postgraduate Centre (PGC), and YM scholars. 

 

 

The evening culminated in a heartfelt gesture as representatives from the postgraduate and international bodies, along with YM scholars, presented tokens of appreciation to the MSU President.
