Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Creative Multimedia programmes by the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE) of Management and Science University (MSU) produced three projects announced as the most innovative at MSU’s 15th Idea Regeneration Expo (iReX).

 

Noveli Sari Ramadhani from the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering programme at the Department of Engineering and Technology (ENT), Nurul Syafiqah Zabidi from the Bachelor in Computer Science (Hons) programme at the Department of Information Science and Computing (ISC), and Evan Maulana Bahtiar from the Bachelor in Creative Multimedia (Hons) programme at the Department of Media Science and Graphic (MSG) each received iReX 15.0’s Best Innovative Project award; respectively for An Experimental Investigation of Aluminum Cans Recycle Modified with Copper Addition, AI-based Automated Online Exam Proctoring, and Designing AR Comic Book for Learning the Solar System.

 

 

Three others, one each from MSG, ISC, and ENT, respectively received the Best Innovative Aesthetic, the Best 3MP, and the Best Poster awards; Muhammad Farid Adham Roslan from the Bachelor in Game Design and Animation (Hons) programme at MSG, I Gusti Ngurah Agung Krishna Aditya from the Bachelor in Computer Science (Hons) programme at ISC, and Sharankumaran Munisamy from the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering programme at ENT; for Development of Mobile Game-based Learning and Gamification to Improve Skills in Sensory Development for Young Children, Software Project Management Web Application using Scrum Methodology, and Design and Development of Beach Cleaning Robot.

 

Thirty students bagged the Gold award and twenty-nine the Silver award.

 

Bagging the gold are eight from the Bachelor in Computer Science (Hons) programme; three each from the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Electrical and Electronic) (Hons), and the Bachelor in Computer Forensic (Hons) programmes; two each from the Bachelor in Creative Multimedia (Hons) and Diploma in Graphic Design programmes; and one each from the Master in Computer Science programme at the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), the Bachelor in Instructional Multimedia (Hons), the Bachelor in Graphic Design (Hons), the Bachelor in Product Design (Hons), the Bachelor in Game Design and Animation (Hons), the Bachelor in Information and Communication Technology (Hons), the Bachelor in Business Computing (Hons), the Diploma in Information Technology, and the Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programmes.
