Over a thousand new students of MSU College (MSUC) and MSU Learning Centre (MLC) have pledged scholarship and citizenship of Management and Science University (MSU) in an Oath Taking Ceremony held at MSU Chancellor Hall this May.
At 191 oath takers, MSUC Kota Bharu led with the most number of new MSUrians among the nine MSUCs nationwide; whilst MLC Ipoh, among three MLCs, with 70.
Sworn into a new lineup for the 2023/2024 academic year were eleven new presidents of the MSUC/MLC Student Representatives Council (SRC); Mohamad Izat Mohd Ghazali for MSUC Shah Alam, Mishalini Roban for MSUC Seremban, Vaisnave Chandru for MSUC Sungai Petani, Kok Jun Hao for MSUC Penang, Nur Izzah Ezyani Mohd Zaki for MSUC Kota Bharu, Tengku Noratiqaf Tengku Ab. Raseb for MSUC Kuala Terengganu, Nathaniel John Joel Issu for MSUC Sabah, Hezron Jerin for MSUC Sarawak, Krishaapreet Kaur Brar Arumugam for MLC Ipoh, Shimall Ikqramall Mohd Saili for MLC Sentral, and Erra Wong Siew Wen for MLC Johor Bahru.
MSU president Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid officiated.
“Begin your journey with a clear intention of what you want to do, a purpose, because without it you will lose direction. It does not matter where you begin, but how you end. Be here for the success, and for the excellence that you can achieve. Shoot for the moon; so that if you missed, you will still land among the stars.”
