Two thousand three hundred and seventy-three from a hundred and seventeen programmes of study graduated at the 30th Convocation Ceremony of Management and Science University (MSU).

 

Nineteen received their PhD degree, thirty-five their Master’s degree, a thousand five-hundred and eighty their Bachelor’s degree, and seven hundred thirty-nine their Diploma.

 

 

The Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) presented the most number of graduates (714), and, together with the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE), also the most number of academic programmes (26).

 

Sixty-five graduates received the Best Student Awards across five categories.

 

Bachelor in Finance (Hons) Muhammad Harris Azman received the Chancellor Gold Medal Award.

 

Master of Science in Food Service Technology (by Research) Arivananthan Kanakasundar received the President Award, along with Bachelor in English Language and Literature Studies (Hons) Nur Nadeeyah Ahmad Gorden and Diploma in Culinary Arts graduate Muhammad Farihin Mohd Faizal.

 

The Mohd Shukri Yajid (MSY) Outstanding Award went to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Dr Muhammad Syakir Abd Halek and Bachelor in Computer Science (Hons) Mubarak Salem Mubarak Albukhairi.

 

Thirty-seven received the Academic Award and twenty-two the Industry Award.

Conferring the degrees in the first of the four-session event held over two days was MSU Chancellor the Regent of Kedah, HRH Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin.

 

 

Also present was MSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Puan Sri Datuk Dr Junainah Abd Hamid.
