In the spirit of the University’s 2Gs (Giving and Grateful) culture, MSU Engage and Yayasan MSU of Management and Science University jointly organised the Majlis Pelancaran Biasiswa Yayasan MSU.

During the launch event, a sponsorship fund of RM 50 million has been earmarked for the academic year 2023/2024. This initiative is driven towards assuring equitable access to education and financial assistance for eligible students seeking to pursue higher education at MSU in their chosen fields, accommodating their individual preferences and inclinations.

On December 5, a total of 145 institutions, which include 128 secondary schools and 17 other educational entities such as matriculation, polytechnics, vocational colleges, sixth form colleges, MARA Junior Science Colleges, and Sekolah Bina Insan YMSU, from central states (Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, and Pulau Pinang) across the nation, received a symbolic cheque.

Addressing and officiating the launching ceremony was Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Abd Yajid, President of MSU.

“At MSU, we firmly believe that every individual, irrespective of their background, ethnicity, religion, or heritage, has the capability to excel and evolve into their ideal selves if presented with the right opportunities, encouragement, and access. Adopting a unique strategy this time, we empower the school administration to identify the most deserving recipients for the scholarships.”

Yayasan MSU offers a range of scholarships, including the President Scholarship, MSU Outstanding Rewards Scholarship (MORE), Scholarship Reward for Excellence (SCORE), Scholarship for Mobility and International Learning Experiences (SMILE), Joint Scholarships, as well as Fellowship and SLAB Schemes. These various categories represent the diverse opportunities through which Yayasan MSU supports and rewards students in their pursuit of academic excellence and international learning experiences.
