Responding to the guidelines set by the authority and responsible bodies at MOHE, MQA and MOH, within the SOPs and guides referenced to the JPT/GS 1000-519 Jld 7(2) Advisory Note dated 6th January 2021 and media publications dated 12 January 2021, the university prepares for a staggered receiving of students back on campus at MSU’s reopening soon. Students with a pertinent need for the University’s essential services to facilitate their learning experiences at MSU are prioritized.
Despite the required distancing, the campus community is together in time. Students living within the 10km-radius rule imposed by MCO 2.0 can still come to campus; where facilities such as Wi-Fi are available for use, and visitors are subject to vigilance on the health and safety issues at hand while observing all the SOPs currently in place.
Even before COVID-19 emerged on the scene, Management and Science University (MSU) had implemented blended learning across all its foundation, diploma, degree, master’s, and doctoral programmes. With experience in both virtual and blended modes of delivery, converting to full online teaching and learning in a difficult time such as the pandemic is no issue for the University that has been awarded the Malaysia Digital Business Award for Excellence in Education Digitization.
Across the University, members of the academic faculty tailor pedagogical solutions supported by technology. Everything is being done to ensure continuous teaching; in keeping with the University’s leading national index for Graduation on Time (iGoT), so that not a beat shall be missed in either education or experience for the students of Malaysia’s Most Entrepreneurial Private University that concurrently boasts the country’s highest graduate employability at 98.7 percent within six months of convocation.
Capitalizing on accumulated knowledge of how online communities thrive, both cohort and community are fostered to ensure uninterrupted networking of course mates, colleagues, academia, and support systems.
