About The Course
MSU’s diploma programme in retail management is designed to provide you with comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and applied aspects of retail management, with emphasis on the key perspectives that shape the retail marketplace, including environmental influences, retail relationships, and the retail operation. Special attention will be given to supply chain relationships, quality and value, ethics, consumer satisfaction, and social responsibility. Your subjects of study include retail sales management, finance, accounting, marketing, strategic management, and business law. Your lecturers are industry professionals, and the learning opportunities and experiences we provide you will add depth and breadth to your understanding and develop both your trade and life skills. An internship or industry project at the end of your studies ensures your industry-readiness for a career in retail management.
Programme Structure Contents
You will need at least THREE (3) Credits at SPM level; OR a PTPL Business Management Certificate with a Pass in all subjects; OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate.
