What the course will give you
The curriculum of the MSU diploma programme in electrical and electronic engineering provides you with immediate skills to use in real engineering situations and sufficient background to future higher studies. You will learn electromagnetics, instrumentation, electronics, power systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.

An internship at the end of your studies ensures you graduate industry-ready for a career in electrical and electronic engineering.

Where the qualification may lead you to
You could be working in the industries of telecommunication, manufacturing, research, engineering, or computing. Industry job titles include Supervisor, Technician, Technical Assistant, Plant Management Assistant, Sales Engineer, and Assistant Maintenance Engineer, among others. You may also go on to degree studies and increase your career options.
Who may enrol
You need at least THREE (3) Credits at SPM/SPMV level including in Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics OR a PTPL certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DEEE) is a two-and-a-half-year programme by the Department of Engineering & Technology at MSU’s Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE).
