Rooted in its tradition of upholding the campus culture of Giving and Grateful (2G), Management and Science University (MSU) is leaving no stone unturned. The University, through collaboration with the MSU Foundation Yayasan MSU (YMSU) and MSU Engage, distributed zakat to 1067 school students from 73 schools in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. 

 

In tandem with MSU Ihya Ramadan 2024, receiving the zakat in the MSU Chancellor Hall were fifth form (934), sixth form (53), and diploma (80) from national secondary schools and vocational colleges in the Klang Valley. 

 

 

MSU President Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, reiterated the importance of giving prominence to education among the pupils in his officiating speech. 

“The power of social mobility lies beneath education. It fosters character development, which is a critical element for both individual success and a thriving society. Education serves as the beacon for transformation, on a personal, societal, and national level. Through establishing educational collaborations, even greater prospects for our nation’s educational landscape can be discovered.”
