IMS Dean’s List Award and Appreciation Day Ceremony

The International Medical School (IMS) of Management and Science University (MSU) hosted the IMS Dean’s List Award and Appreciation Day Ceremony for the October 2018–October 2022 MBBS sessions and February 2020–July 2023 intake sessions.

Five hundred and sixty-three students of the Foundation of Medical Science, Diploma of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and MBBS Bangalore-Malaysia received their certificates for excelling in previous semesters and end-of-posting examinations.

The faculty has reinstated its first award ceremony since the onset of COVID-19.

Certificates of appreciation were also given to 75 students.

Twenty-eight athletes from the Medic Intervarsity Game (MiVG) 2022 and 19 athletes from the MiVG 2023 are among the recipients, in addition to 19 athletes from other competitions, including iMICROBE (4), MASISWA (5), and V(We) Project Exhibition Travel with Comfort 2023 UKM (6).

Delivering a keynote address titled Agility and Sustain Resilience of Future Graduates, the esteemed guest of the ceremony, Dr. Hirman Ismail, the Deputy Director of the Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Also gracing the ceremony were IMS Dean Professor Dr. Mohamad Khairuddin Abd Wahab; Professor Datuk Dr. Rohaizat Hj Yon, Board Director of MSU, Professor in Public Health (MSU), and Consultant Public Health Physician, Management and Science University Medical Centre (MSUMC); IMS Deputy Dean of Academic Associate Professor Dr. Hamidah Abu Bakar; and IMS Deputy Dean Clinical, Postgraduate and Research Professor Dr. Mohamad Najib Alwi.
